Yesterday we shared the article “The Ten Commandments of Great Customer Service” and our dedication to getting to know our customers on a personal level by listening to their particular needs. Today, we’ll continue with Part 2 of our 10 commandments (of great customer service) with #3 and #4.
Great Customer Service Commandment #3: Identifying and anticipating customers’ needs.
We don’t just help our customers determine what’s best for them right now just to make a quick sale. Your jewelry is a reflection of your personality, so by knowing who our customers are we can better anticipate what their true tastes and needs are. We’ve been in the business so long that we’ve seen the trends come and go across the board, so we can make educated suggestions to help find something you’ll fall in love with.

Another response to a need we have implemented this years has been our service for the elderly. We took action by hosting periodic battery clinics at local senior citizen homes to assist any needs they have with watch batteries or minor repairs. We find the relationships with our customers truly rewarding, and it all starts with identifying our customers’ true needs in order to better serve them.
Great Customer Service Commandment #4: Making customers feel important and appreciated.
Being a small local store allows us that intimate interaction with our customers that you don’t often get at chain stores where you get a new sales person every time you walk in their door. Here, you get personal attention from our Gemologist to learn about the best stone or design that will fit your lifestyle. You learn about how to properly take care of your precious gems after you leave the store, and by offering free inspections and cleanings, we make sure you are well taken care of should you need anything in the future.
